I have always enjoyed reading about Alexander and his times, but the reason I will see this movie is for beautiful Jonathan.

Colin does nothing for me (no offense to those who adore him), but even I can see that Jonathan would not have been right for the part of Alexander. I tried to make a case in my mind for his playing Hephastion but that doesn't work either. Five years ago he would have been an absolutely stunning Bagoas, but since he has grown into such a handsome man now he's a bit too old. So, he's playing the part of anyother cranky angry twisted guy, and I like him that way too.

Anyway he's a wonderful actor and I hope that this film gives him even more exposure than "Bend it..." since comparing his characters in the two films will really show how good an actor he is becoming.
