The soundtrack site just put up a 4 and a half minute clip Showing Vangelis composing the music and why he choose as he did. It's a great clip with scenes from the battle and the entrance to Babylon.

I didn't see this topic so I answered the other topic first... But.
I hadn't heard any samples of Alexander soundtrack but I downloaded a few songs from internet to know what kind of music it was. Well, it was good and I downloaded more.
And now I love the soundtrack. I love all the pieces. Vangelis has composed great music. And I love to play pieces, especially Across the Mountains with my violin I don't have yet the original album but I'll buy it when I see it in a store. |

My favorite piece is from Roxane's dance. I downloaded that one along with a couple others but I can't remember exactly what they were.
I loved Roxane's dance in the film; loved the way Alexander was looking at her during that. Do you suppose if I learned that dance and went to California that Colin would look at me that way if I danced for him? LOL!! |

Yep!
Or maybe this is even a better idea:
A completely own dvd of Bagoas´ dance called "Dance with Bagoas". A standard 56 minutes of warming up, dressing up, make-up and the dance itself, without forgetting streching afterwards, and tips to flirting with the audience.
*no niin, kokoahan itsesi - ja verryttele valmiiksi! Liikkeet eivät ole niin helppoja kuin miltä näyttävät!* |
