I read an article here where Oliver Stone said he took some scene's out of the film with Bagoas. Well I watched the film for the 357653065236th time last night and noticed on the scene where Alexander climbs into bed (The infamous naked scene) after Bagoas dims the light it looks like Alexander makes a hand gesture for Bagoas to get into the bed with the scene changing just afterwards. It also looks like Bagoas is wearing night clothes... could this be one of the deleted scenes? |

Yes, I also noticed it when I watched the movie the fourth time, and I think you're right in that afterwards a deleted scene follows. Atleast it certainlty does set the scene for it... |

Yeah it does, he also give Bagoas a weird look when he reading the parchments. Stone said he took some Alexander/Bagoas scenes out that weren't necessarily need and thinking about it, a love scene or whatever it was leading to between the two was not really needed to follow the plot. |

I third that!! I think that,s why the release was delayed when there was a row and OS was told to cut the scenes.Everybody denied it but I,m sure that,s what happened. |

Actually this is old news. I remember it being discussed even before the films release that the delay was because they edited out the scene with Bagoas because Bagoas as a character really wasn't necessary to the whole plot.
I think people get that mixed up with the denial that there was ever a similar scene with Alexander and Hephaistion edited out. |

hey have you noticed this : the night before the battle of Gaugamela, when alex and heph are talking togheter, and they're walking through the camp...well,there's this moment where they're approaching a fire camp with some soldiers, so they quit talking and alex does some speech to them...while heph DISAPPEARS and it's nowhere around (he was right next to alex),then alex walks away and in the next shot they're again one next to the other (where does heph come from I've got no clue) ,but it looks like they STILL have to approach the camp fire because you can see it in the background, kind of in front of them...
????
what the...???
cut scene/dialogue?
bad cutting???
who knows!!! |

It seems that Hephaestion walks around waiting for Alexander at the other end, I guess he didn´t want to get involved in that conversation.
Why alexiel? is it different from the movie theater? |
