from what I understand of the woman in history she was very "crafty" and not one to turn your back on... I believe she worship Dionysus

Alexanders mother & father were constantly at odds with each other... no wonder they raised a man who believed himself to be a god...

it will be interesting to see her portray what seems to be a venomous Queen...

Angelina is a good actress and a very interesting person. Her inner passion and her attitude to life was perfect for the role.

As Olympias she got beautiful, amazing eyes - green I think? but her real color is blue. Why they changed it?

Haven't noticed this, but if true, it might be because green eyes are more common (than blue) over here.

They portrayed her in a rather witchy way, and green eyes are the marks for a witch, aren't they?

I don't know about witches but Olympias is known to have been red haired with green eyes, yes. ...well I guess the hairstylist of the movie was not that much of a success Laughing Laughing Laughing , or he/she wanted to make his/her statement through it...maybe... Laughing

I won´t say witchy, she look great! powerful and beautiful. I thought it was perfect except for the accent.

me too! But then again, maybe they wanted that because they wanted to show the differences of their accents (cause the accents were different).

I think that she didn't do such a good job as i hoped she would as Olympias. She over-did the role. She gave it a decent attempt and go. But wasnt convincing at all to me.

What do you mean she overdid it ? I think she was the Olympias that Oliver Stone wanted. She simply did what she was asked to. For me she was very good. If they had made her red-haired and green-eyed ( like the true Olympias ) she would be perfect Exclamation

No.. I really think that she overdid the role.. i mean i hated that accent! she could've talked abit more normal i mean i've read all the accounts of Olympias i know how her character was like i just dont think she did a good job as she could have done as Olypmias.Would prefer to see how others would have done in that role, sorry to offend any 'fans' out there.
