The battles should be: The Grancius, Issus, Siege of Tyre, Gamugamela, and more, but they may not be able to fit them all, unless you want to see a L.O.T.R 3 remake Razz.

I'd like to see heaps of blood and gore, because thats how it was in those battles. They were violent times ruled by violent people and If I dont see lots and lots of Stabbing Hacking Slashing and Killing going on I will be most upset Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad and very dissapointed.
And Cal, dont worry If it's R rated I'm sure you'll still figure out a way to go see it. (At least I hope so anyway) I used to watch R rated films all the time as a youngster Laughing

Lots and lots and lots of it!!!!!! Twisted Evil

You can't make a film with that sort of fighting without the nice fleshy sounds of flesh being cleaved. Anyway some of the things they did to each other went past hacking bits off to stuff like crucifiction or something like that (and dismemberment and disembowlment).

If people don't like it they shouldn't watch it. A realistic account of a battle with sythed charriots cannot be bloodless!!!

Gd point. Battles have to have a good sound track (anyone notice Troy's was the same as Gladiator?) or else they are crap.

I did read from a man on set that he believes that these will be some of the grandest battles ever shot or viewed. In the scope of Alexander they may have to be for they were the largest battles to date. Lets just hope that Stone's grasp of history will play out on screen. He has spent years researching.

Oh right. Thats a good film.

The sound track or Gladiator only reall properly fits Gladiator. In Troy it seems a bit naff.
