There seems to be a few new films on Cleopatra:
Caeser and Cleopatra, a comedy which stars Christopher Plummer and Nikki Michelle James has just been released in Canada.
Young Cleopatra (2009) directed by Richard Platt and filmed in Alexandria.
Growing up in Alexandria as a royal princess, daughter of the Pharaoh, young Cleopatra's enchanted existence comes to an abrupt end when her father is overthrown in a coup by her sister. Cleopatra's own life is threatened and her only hope of survival is to escape the palace and evade her evil sister.

There is another film called Cleopatra, which could be the one with Catherine Zeta Jones and classed as a rock and roll musical. Hugh Jackman just pulled out of the lead role as Mark Antony |
