Does anyone know who is going to play Alexander in his younger years? Angelina Jolie is playing his mother but is apparently only in one scene with Colin Farrell (he's 27, she's 28 so age is an issue).

I have heard that there is another young person/actor other than Connor Paolo playing a young version of Alexander. Can anyone verify this for me as I am keen to know if this is true and if so does anyone know the name? Question

Well the casting called for Alexander at 8/9 and Alexander at 11/12, I believe, so yeah... there should be another young Alex somewhere.

And I wonder who's playing Bagoas?

How about those cast in the Persian roles?
Any word on who's playing Darius? Pharnabazus? and other Persian satraps and generals?

According to the IMDB, German-Turkish actor Erol Sander has been cast in the film, in what role is unknown. Judging from his ethnicity, I'm thinking he's Darius. The updated cast is now:

Colin Farrell: Alexander
Angelina Jolie: Olympias
Val Kilmer: Philip
Jared Leto: Hephaestion
Anthony Hopkins: Ptolemy
Rosario Dawson: Roxanne
Jonathan Rhys-Meyers: Cassander
Elliot Cowan: Young Ptolemy
Joseph Morgan: Philotas
Ian Beattie: Antigonus
Conor Paolo: Young Alexander
Brian Blessed: Unknown (possibly Parmenion?)
Erol Sander: Unknown (possibly Darius?)

In talks...

Jeanne Moreau: Unknown (possibly Sisygambis?)

Apparently Brian Blessed is to play Leonidas, a teacher who taught Alexander in his younger years how to fight, wrestle, and act like a king.

imdb has two names listed as 'Bagoas dancer,' one male and one female: Matthew Powell and Monica Zamora. On another board it was suggested that Powell would play most of Bagoas scenes, and Zamora would do the dancing. Anyone have any pics?

You're at the wrong web-site if you want to continue down that line.
