I think he was bisexual. Nothing more nothing less. It will be mentioned in the upcoming movie I expect. But I can only guess to what extend.

It is quite clear that he was bi.

I don't really think that's true. There were many well respected hetero and homo sexual men. PHilip to my knowledge was heterosexual.

Women were NOTHING and weren't considered good enough for love. Real love could only existe between two men. And the only way to become a man was to be taken by an older man as a lover. This is evident in their art and philosophy.

And just because Philip didn't have a public lover doesn't mean he didn't have one. Besides, he grew up in Thebes where he was a political prisoner, so it is unlikely it would have been recorded.

suppose so. Men still took women for pleasure and 'pro-creation'. Hell they had scores of 'compainions' at meals of both genders to pleasure them in anyway.

Yes,yes, yes. In those ages the WHOLE planet were gay and bisexual. It was a few years later after the coming of Jesus that things changed a bit.Until then all men had sex with eachother.Humans was the only species that did that and that is why it was the dominant one.If the rest of the animals had done the same way maybe things would b different today.(u see they don't have "brains" to f*** them out,we do) Wink

I am originally from a farm and believe it or not some animals are definitely gay. We once had a gay bull. Couldn't get him near a cow.
It's an oddity, but it happens.

I'm sorry about not being able to edit posts but there is a reason. Someone could quite easily start a controversial topic that starts a flame war and then edit their post to make them look like they had nothing to do with it. That would be unfair on everyone else involved.
