Anybody know anything about this actor who plays young Ptolemy? I know he's done a lot of theatre in England, but I don't know much about his big screen background, if he has any.

He,s not very well known here in the U.K.but he,s been in a few pretty good t.v. dramas in supporting roles.Apparently Alexander was his first major film,although as you say he,s done a lot of theatre.Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info! I think there were so many good yet obscure actors in this movie, I hope to see that this will help many of them get new and larger roles.

Anyone outside the U.K.interested in Elliot Cowan might like to know that he starred in a two part t.v. docu-drama on Jean-Francois Champollion,the first man to translate Egyptian hieroglyphs.He was excellent and seemed a lot more relaxed than in Alexander.It seems strange that,after his role as Ptolemy,he was once again involved with Egypt. Very Happy
